International Year of Plant Health 2020
It is crucial to keep plants healthy to protect the environment and biodiversity. Healthy plants are essential for ending hunger and achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
In 2018, United Nations decided to declare 2020 the International Year of Plant Health to raise awareness of the importance of plant health and the economic, social and environmental impact of plant health on food security and ecosystem functions, and to share best practices in this regard.
