Cimtas Pipe Longitudinal Submerged Arc Welded (“LSAW”) Pipe Works wins 5-Star Rating for its Health and Safety Management System from the British Safety Council (“BSC”)
Cimtas Pipe’s business unit, Cimtas Pipe LSAW Pipe Works, has won 5-Star rating, first of its business line worldwide, for its health and safety management system and associated operations, following a comprehensive audit against current best practice techniques and trends, from the British Safety Council (“BSC”).
BSC is a not-for-profit organization founded in 1957, promoting excellence in health, safety and environmental management services in more than 60 countries around the world. The 5-Star Audit carried out by BSC is one of the most comprehensive, contemporary, quantified audit process available globally, which tests companies’ health, safety and environmental management system performance against the latest legislation, recognized standards, and best practice techniques.
Cimtas Pipe has accordingly undergone an intensive BSC audit, meticulously assessing the Company’s six indicators; leadership, stakeholder engagement, risk management, organizational health and safety culture, continual improvement and wellbeing.
