Plant Engineering Divison

Plant Engineering Division of Cimtas Pipe has the project management capability to provide engineering and procurement services to the projects of the customers. It has the experience of working in coordination with different disciplines and parties involved in all phases of a project.

Plant Engineering Division can start from preparing PID and Plot Plan for the design of utility and offsite facilities. For process and power plants, customer's basic design is required. On-site engineering work can be done for revamp projects.

Piping design capabilities cover several areas such as;

• Plant design modelling can be done in both in PDMS and PDS environment.
• Stress analysis can be carried out using Caesar II or Rohr2 following ASME B31.1, B31.3 or EN 13480 codes.
• Pressure drop calculations, orifice, flow nozzle and venturi sizing can be done in-house.
• FE analysis can be carried out where required.

Presently used softwares are PDS, PDMS, Xsteel, Microstation and AutoCAD for design, Caesar II, Rohr2,Sinetz, SAP 2000, and Flow Consultants for analysis and calculation.
